What we collect

First and Last Name
Avatar First and Last Name
Email address (only for local accounts)
Birthdate (only for local accounts)
UUID (for HG visitors and local accounts)
IP Address (this is stored transiently, unless needed for a security reason)
*NOTE: For transparency, you also should be informed that your Avatar Name and UUID is exchanged between grids and grid users, for things
such as , Friendships, Friendship Requests, Instant messages, Profiles, and inventory exchanges, regardless if you actually travel to a foreign grid.
What we do with the information we gather
We require this information for you to access the AnSky Grid Grid, and to verify age appropriatness, as well as should you choose offline messages to email.
Internal record keeping.
We may use the information to improve our services.
We may periodically send emails about support issues or new features.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
How we use cookies

If you create and distribute items in any way, freebies, by selling them, avatar to avatar transfers or via the Hypergrid, you are agreeing that some of your information, ie Avatar Name and UUID, for the storage of original creator data, this information will be stored beyond requests for deletion. This is in compliance with the GDPR clause enabling the system to maintain function as intended.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties. We may use your personal information to contact you with offers strictly from us.
